The Borderlands Innovation Discovery Tour is a two year project led by Startup Unidos, founder Stephanie Bermudez and a binational support team of young creatives and entrepreneurs. The tour was developed to better understand innovation and entrepreneurship in border communities throughout the United States and Mexico border region.
The tour will support research and development and overall company improvements; such as branding, marketing of services and structure of programs. The passion for borderlands innovation and the communities served will remain at the forefront of every touchpoint of the project. As a result, Startup Unidos will be better positioned as the only organization that has a consistent, culturally relevant approach centered around family and community in the interest of cross-border economic development.
And since the need and desire for real, lasting change along the border continues to grow, Startup Unidos remains passionately committed to empower emerging Latinx entrepreneurs to self identify, gain industry knowledge, connect to culture and community, solve local problems, innovate and prosper like never before.
